About the Project

Challenge

Cybercrime and AI-powered threats are spreading rapidly across Europe, covering identity theft, online fraud, cyberattacks on businesses, and online sexual exploitation. Victims – including children, women, vulnerable people and businesses – often lack access to personalized and cross-border legal and psychosocial support after being targeted.

Our Solution

CYBERCRIME AID offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary model for post-incident victim assistance:
– Pilot Programs: Testing victim support strategies in selected EU countries;
– Capacity Building: Training law enforcement, judiciary, and NGOs
– AI Risk Detection: Ethical AI tools for victim identification and support
– Gender & Child-Sensitive Approach: Tailored support for vulnerable groups and SMEs
– Legislative Recommendations: Policy changes based on real victim support data
– Institutional Integration: Long-term sustainability with Eurojust, Eurochild, and Europol
